Google Analytics is available on public pages only after a visitor accepts optional analytics. It stays off when the choice is missing, rejected, or withdrawn.

The site is applying for Google AdSense. A Google AdSense site-verification script loads on public pages, but the site does not currently display ads or include ad units.

The site does not provide user accounts.

The site does not process payments.

Analytics data and purposes

When analytics is accepted, Google Analytics may process an IP address, approximate location, browser and device characteristics, page URLs, referrers, and interaction events. The site uses this information to understand aggregate traffic, diagnose page problems, and improve guides; it is not used to create a site account.

Planned advertising

The AdSense site-verification script can send routine request information such as the IP address and browser or device characteristics to Google. Advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalization remain denied, and no ad units are active. After approval and a separate activation, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies for ad delivery, frequency control, fraud prevention, and measurement. Personalized advertising would be used only where the required consent is available.

Advertising choices can also be reviewed through Google’s advertising controls.

Feedback data

A feedback ticket may contain its category, subject, optional nickname, message, and a normalized page URL. Messages remain in the language and wording submitted; they are not translated or rewritten. The service stores a hashed private token rather than the raw token and a HMAC-derived client identifier rather than the submitted IP address.

Storage, processors, and retention

Vercel delivers the site and feedback endpoints. Neon stores feedback for the unified private administration service. Google processes AdSense site-verification requests and accepted analytics under its own terms. These providers may process routine request data needed to deliver, secure, measure, and operate the service.

Google Analytics first-party identifiers can remain for up to two years unless they are deleted sooner, and event retention also follows the Analytics property settings. The complete private feedback link is saved only in this browser's local storage. Feedback records currently have permanent retention unless the operator removes them in response to a valid request.

Your choices

Use Cookie settings in the footer to accept, reject, or withdraw optional analytics at any time. Rejecting optional analytics does not restrict the wiki. Clearing browser data also removes the saved preference and private-ticket shortcut; a lost private ticket link cannot be recovered because the site does not collect contact details.

Third-party media

The site does not currently load third-party embedded media.
