The Big Ambitions map is the VoogleMaps app inside the game. Open it, enable the filter for the destination or property type you need, and select a marker to inspect or navigate to it. For a business location, compare building type, customer capacity, traffic, floor area, rent, and availability before signing the lease.

The seven neighborhoods in version 1.0

The 1.0 city contains these seven named areas:

  • Garment neighborhood
  • Hell's Kitchen
  • Midtown
  • Murray Hill
  • Lower Manhattan
  • Industry City
  • The Hamptons

Hovgaard Games describes The Hamptons as the seventh neighborhood, with mansions and a smaller retail strip. That makes any six-neighborhood map or guide an Early Access reference, not a complete 1.0 map.

Find a store, office, warehouse, or service

  1. Open the in-game phone and launch VoogleMaps.
  2. Select the filter for the destination category, such as retail, office, warehouse, appliance store, wholesaler, recruitment agency, or vehicle dealer.
  3. Select a highlighted marker to see the location and start navigation.
  4. For a rentable property, inspect it in the current save before paying a deposit. A community list can help shortlist addresses, but it cannot tell you whether a rival currently owns the business or whether the property is available.
  5. If the trip crosses the city, compare driving with the nearest subway stop before committing to a routine supply route.

You have found the right place when the selected destination name matches your task and the navigation route points to its entrance. Do not rely only on a street name copied from an older guide; businesses and map behavior can change between releases.

Choose a business location with the right metrics

The building index exposes the same useful distinctions players should check in-game: neighborhood, address, business type, total size, building layout, customer capacity, Traffic Index, and parking.

  • Retail: customer capacity and Traffic Index affect how many shoppers the location can support. More floor space is not automatically better if the lease overwhelms the business.
  • Office: confirm the building type supports the intended office business and has room for the required workstations.
  • Warehouse or factory: prioritize usable layout, storage space, vehicle bays, and route distance. A warehouse does not need walk-in customer traffic.
  • Special venues: cinemas, theaters, and unique services use restricted building types; a normal retail unit is not interchangeable.

Map problems and recovery

  • The marker is off the visible map: update to the current 1.0 build. Build 3672 added edge indicators for off-map VoogleMaps destinations.
  • A Hamptons retail unit appears unavailable: the same patch fixed a case where no retail buildings could be available there; update, advance the save, and check again.
  • The destination list is crowded: narrow the category instead of browsing every marker, or use the subway search added in Build 3672.
  • An address from a guide does not match: search by destination type and confirm the current in-game name. Treat the external list as a lookup aid, not live save data.

What this page does not claim

This site does not publish a homemade coordinate layer or pretend that a static list reflects every save. The official release establishes the seven-neighborhood scope; the community building index supplies searchable reference data; VoogleMaps remains the final authority for the property and route visible in your current game.
